Summary: A fish with beautiful rainbow scales learns the importance of sharing with one another in this deep sea adventure. 

 

Interdisciplinary Uses: 

- Math Lesson- Students will experiment with representing problem situations in multiple ways including numbers, drawing pictures, using objects, acting out, making a chart or list, creating equations, etc. Students need opportunities to connect the different representations and explain the connections.

- Science Lesson- Students will identify different organisms and how they interact with one another and their environment.

Summary: A boy goes on an adventure to The North Pole on a magical train called The Polar Express. Along the way he encounters people and obstacles that teach him about the importance of having faith and believing in the spirit of Christmas.

Interdisciplinary Uses: 

Art- Students will be challenged to draw a self-portrait and how they "believe" in themselves 

Writing- Students will include brief descriptions of personal traits they are proud of/ accomplishments
